There is a professional, qualified masseur in on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2pm till late and the prices are extremely reasonable at £20 for 30 minutes and £40 for 60 minutes. This is separate to the entry fee and you are advised to check availability at reception. Please ask to speak with Simon to book your treatment.
Schmeiss
Exfoliation treatment performed in a very hot steam room using a raffia brush. The brush is swung in a rotatory fashion to build up heat and then rubbed against the body, exfoliating the skin. This unique method helps to increase circulation and oxygen flow around the body. You will feel refreshed, reinvigorated – and cleaner than you’ve ever been.
Venik
An essential part of the Russian bath – fragrant bundles of leafy silver birch or oak tree twigs. Venik bundles are struck against the body, invigorating the skin and improving blood circulation. It helps with muscle and joint pain and improves respiration. Essential oils released by the venik improve metabolism and prevent premature aging of the skin.
